How recommendations are compiled

This guide lists conservative recommendations for every race on Texas ballots, county by county.

Recommendations come from public, verifiable sources: endorsements, voting records, candidate statements and party platforms.
Every suggested recommendation is checked before it is added. Nothing is added just because someone asked.
Each change bumps the county guide's version number and last-updated date, shown on the page and the PDF.
No candidate, campaign or committee pays to be listed.
When a recommendation relies on one source, that source is named next to it.
